DAY 1 HANOI ARRIVAL Uppon arrival in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by our guide and driver Transfer to the hotel for check in Overnight in Hanoi DAY 2 HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B) Breakfast at the hotel Join with tour guide for a full day city tour. Tour starts with Ho Chi Minh complex: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, stilt house (Viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Oct-Nov), Ba Dinh square, One Pillar pagoda. Then we visit Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. Continue trip to Hoa Lo Prison, once called “Hell in the Earth”, which was used by the French colonists to sentence Vietnamese political prisoners. Afternoon we the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with Ngoc Son temple. After that we visit the St. Joseph's Cathedral. It is a late 19th-century Gothic Revival church that serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi to nearly 4 million Catholics in the country. Then go watch the water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. DAY 3 HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D) – SHUTTLE BUS Breakfast at the hotel 08:00 – 08:30 Pick-up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Ha Long International Cruise Port (Sun Group) check in Oriental Sails JSC’s waiting hall 12:15 – 12:45 Embark on main cruises by a transfer boat. Listen to cruise briefing and receive room key 13:00 – 15:30 Savor a delectable lunch on Oriental Sails cruises’ restaurants further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay, heading to the first place for activities You have 2 options to choose: Option 1: Discovery local daily life: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip around Vung Vieng Fishing Village Option 2: Take kayak at by yourself with the help and instruction of our tour guides around the Village. 17:30 – 18:00 Return to overnight cruises and have bath then relax as the sun starts to set. Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck while joining the cooking class with our chefs. 19:00 Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 22h00. Overnight on board at Cong Do Area. DAY 4 HALONG BAY - HANOI – SAIGON BY FLIGHT (B/L/D) 06:30 – 07:00 Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. 07:00 – 09:00 Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while cruising toward Thien Canh Son Cave Visit Thien Canh Son Cave – the medium size and less visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay 09:30 Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area. 09:30 – 11:00 Head back to the port. Have early lunch on board. Disembark the main cruise at around 12h00. Note it is possible to first do the Halong bay cruise on arrival and post cruise stay 2 nights at Hanoi. 12:00 – 16:30 Transfer back to Hanoi then go directly to the airport for the flight to Saigon Overnight in Saigon DAY 5 SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – SAIGON HALF DAY TOUR (B) After breakfast at hotel, start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Cu Chi Tunnels is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Comeback to Saigon in the afternoon and have a half day city tour Saigon. In the afternoon. You will begin your urban experience in bustling Saigon, the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale shops. Visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum. Then visit Ben Thanh market before ending this day. Overnight in Saigon DAY 6 SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON (B/L) Breakfast at hotel. Depart at 8:00am from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred locally as “the rice bowl of Vietnam”. Upon arrival at My Tho, cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). The motorized boat cruise more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. En- route visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. Enjoy lunch in local restaurant. Come back to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon. Overnight in Saigon. DAY 7 SAIGON DEPARTURE (B) Breakfast at the hotel Transfer to the airport for the flight to the next destination It’s time to say thank you for coming here and hope to see you again!! |
