Day 01 – Arrive Moscow
Welcome to your Russia!! Upon arrival at Moscow airport, proceed to your hotel in a private transfer arrive hotel and check in. Moscow is an elaborate city with an excellent underground transportation system. Late afternoon we suggest you go to Red Square and have a first feel of the Great Russian Capital. Overnight at hotel. Day 02 – At Moscow
Today after breakfast proceed for Moscow city & Underground tour. Among the sights we visit is the iconic Red Square, the pulsating heart of Russia whose roads lead off like arteries to connect the rest of the country to Moscow. At the end of the square we catch a glimpse of the fairytale like St. Basil's Cathedral with its colourful onion shaped domes. Spot the famous department store GUM which witnessed scenes of immense queues during the Soviet era. Take in the curiously diminutive mausoleum to Lenin, and the impressive Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, then head up to the observation point on Sparrow Hills in front of the State University building to admire the cityscape below. The highlight of the tour is Moscow’s superb metro, unlike any other in the world. Its resplendent stations will not fail to amaze. Dating back to the 1930s many of the 188 stations offer the visitor glamorous palaces of marble and granite decorated with superb frescoes and mosaics. An unforgettable underground world! Overnight at hotel. Day 03 – At Moscow Proceed by taxi or metro on your own to the entrance of Alexander Gardens where we meet our guide for a detailed briefing on our tour by the appointed time. Go back to the times of the Czar as we get the opportunity to see and admire at our own pace and gain insight into Russian heritage and culture, and take the opportunity to get some great photos at this UNESCO World Heritage Site... See the famous Faberge eggs, gilded chariots, robes and more. The climax off course are crown jewels Day 04 – Moscow- St. Petersburg (via high speed Sapsan train)
Today after breakfast depart for Lenigradsky station for your high speed Sapsan train to St. Petersburg. Rest of the day free at one of the most beautiful cities in the world. you may like to wander around on your own. Overnight at hotel. Day 05 – At St. Petersburg Today we depart from our hotel to visit the Petershof Palace & Gardens. Explore the Grand Palace at Peterhof, Visit the imperial palaces and gardens of Peterhof, founded in 1710 as the country residence of the Russian tsars. Day 06 – At St. Petersburg
Today after breakfast. We depart for a hop on hop off city tour and see the many iconic sites. Then visit HERMITAGE MUSEUM. This tour will take you to visit the Hermitage Museum, one of the most impressive art collections in the world. The Hermitage was founded on the original 18th century collection of Empress Catherine the Great and is housed in the magnificent Baroque Winter Palace (the main residence of the Russian Tzars of the Romanov Dynasty) and three other majestic buildings along the Neva River embankment - Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage and New Hermitage. Overnight at hotel. Day 07 – St. Petersburg- Airport
