![]() ![]() | Day 01 – Arrive Paris Private transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day to unwind. Depending on your flight arrival, a seine cruise can be scheduled. Day 02 – Paris Today get introduced to the city on a scheduled panoramic tour which covers the main landmarks such as Champs de Elysees, Opera, Place de la Concorde, Rue St Honore… and the famous squares and boulevards. Post-tour we take the Seine River cruise past many landmarks for an hour and then proceed to Eiffel tower at the scheduled time for an ascend to the 2nd stage for a fascinating view of the city. Evening at leisure. Why not take our Evening special… a show at the lido or the more famous “Can-Can” show. The shows begin at 11 pm. Private city tour possible at a supplement for a group of 4+. Day 3 – Paris Today we savour some of France’s heritage and art in a preset guided tour covering the Louvre… one of the greatest museums and which hosts the Mona Lisa and the Palace of Versailles… where you get an insight into the opulence of an era gone by. The evening is free. Suggest taking a stroll on the Champs Elysees. Day 4 – Paris Day at leisure to browse the city or The Loire experience This is perhaps the most vaunted excursion out of Paris las it brings together an opulent past nestled in vineyards with lovely Chateaus that are a living embodiment of Renaissance architecture with Da Vinci and Medici connection. We strongly recommend… you’ll have something to talk about! But for this, an early start by 6.45 am in the wonderful journey to the Loire valley… it’s not just an excursion… it’s an experience! The first stop is Chambord Castle, the most majestic and visited in the Loire Valley. It is a living embodiment of Renaissance architecture, and you will discover how this was the most ambitious and expensive architectural project undertaken by a French monarch. Chambord Castle is every bit the castle you would expect and is complete with astounding staircases, one reportedly designed by Leonardo da Vinci, as well as a land filled with red deer and wild boar. Then visit Nitray private castle and vineyards. Here we enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch using local ingredients, with a chance to sample some of the region’s best wines. The owner will take you to the pigeon-house and you will have free time to explore the grounds at your own pace before we make our way to our final stop…the Chenonceau Castle, the so-called ‘Château de Dames’. The castle holds testament to a history of leading female owners who all added to the construction and design of this attractive castle… its arches over the Loire River and the manicured gardens. Lastly, the fortress bridge that crosses River Cher. The castle, in addition to being used to celebrate dances and parties, also served as a hospital during World War I and as a refuge in World War II. Its beautiful gardens are just as charming as the castle itself. Day 5 – Paris – Lyon Today we take the TGV to the gourmet capital of France. In the morning there is a possibility to visit Monet’s Garden (the famous painter’s private garden… it’s the most famous garden in France and is visited by over 500,000 people annually in summer. If you are a painting buff, this is a must-visit. Let us know if you have an interest. It is s half-day visit after which we take the TGV to Lyon… a short ride on 2 hours+. Alternately we can take a morning train. Arrive Lyon and proceed to hotel and check-in. The town centre is over a small area and allows for private exploration. Must do is to try out one or two gourmet restaurants. Day 6 – At Lyon Lyon, the capital city in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, sits at the junction of the Rhône and Saône rivers. Its center reflects 2,000 years of history from the Roman Amphithéâtre des Trois Gaules, medieval and Renaissance architecture in Vieux (Old) Lyon, to the modern Confluence district on Presqu’île peninsula. Traboules covered passageways between buildings, connect Vieux Lyon and La Croix-Rousse hill. We include a hop-off hop-on tour to see the town at leisure… there is also an option to see the city on foot with a local English-speaking guide. Excursions out of Lyon for visits to wine yards outside the city are available. Day 7 – Lyon – Nice Today we head for Nice in a TGV train ride of app 6hrs & check in to hotel. The smell of the air is refreshing as we get our first impression of the Queen of the Riviera. Step out for a stroll… you feel younger! We normally book clients at hotels on or close to Promenade de Anglais… dare we say it’s a bit like our Marine drive in Mumbai! Day 8 – At Nice – excursion to Monte Carlo Today we cover Nice and Monte Carlo in a guided tour to get a first impression of the Riviera. Enjoy a lovely visit to Eze village and its perfume factory, then travel on to Monaco where you will see some of the most famous sights including the Cathedral and the Monte Carlo Formula One circuit. We depart for the medieval village of Eze, perched high on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea. Whilst there you will have the chance to visit a traditional perfume-making factory. After a wander around the village where every street is full of charm and history, our tour then takes us to Monaco, for a visit to the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried, the Palace and for a drive along the Formula One race circuit. Of course, any Monaco tour would not be complete without a stroll around Monte-Carlo with its Casino, superb hotels and beautiful gardens. Evening you may wish to go again to Monte Carlo when the dusk falls. the drive during the day is great… evening it’s brilliant and glittering… we let you experience Mont Carlo is about an hour’s drive from Nice and there are 3 routes cut along the mountain… the inferior Corniche, the Moyneune Corniche and the Gran corniche. Train service is also available. So you may revisit any number of times during your stay. Day 9 – At Nice Riviera tour covering Cannes. Spend some free time along La Croisette Boulevard. Drive along the coastal road between Cannes and Antibes passing by the charming marinas of Juan-les-Pins and Golf- Juan. Admire the view from the Fortification Wall in Antibes. Time around the Croisette. Your guide is ready to explore with you Cannes. This city is known for its Cannes Film Festival which takes place in May. Full-day or half-day at your convenience, let us discover Cannes, Antibes, Golfe-Juan and Juan les Pins. You will find throughout this journey, luxury hotels and beautiful beaches. You will be able to see the Lerins Islands facing Cannes. Great place to get some art souvenirs from the South of France. Day 10 – At Nice Day at leisure. you must have a free day to go around on your own. We suggest a morning visit to the famous flower market… and/or may take a quick visit to Aix en Provence, the city of “Counts and Fountains”, so-called because of the many aristocratic buildings and fountains at every corner. And if you are a little adventurous, we recommend you take a self-drive car on rent… then, of course, we will provide you exciting option… suggest rent the car for two days from Day 8 and do the riviera touring… cover the riviera the film Festival city and many beautiful villages of the Provence area… it would be an experience of a lifetime. Day 11 – Depart Nice Transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination. |
