 | Day 1 - MON - STOCKHOLM Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.  Day 2 - TUE - STOCKHOLM TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Stockholm sightseeing.Today we take a panoramic tour of this very beautiful capital city built on 13 islands joined together. We will see the Gamla Stand or the “City between the Bridges”, the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Museum, alongside the main square of Stortorget, which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then leisure time. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, we suggest a visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa museum.  Day 3 - WED - STOCKHOLM - STOCKHOLM-TURKU FERRY TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Ferry to Finland. Enjoy a free day of leisure in Stockholm. In the evening we will board a modern ferry traveling overnight to Finland, where accommodation will be in double cabins with private bathrooms.  Day 4 - THU - STOCKHOLM-TURKU FERRY - NAANTALI - HELSINKI TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Forests, lakes, pleasant landscapes. As we arrive to Finland, we recommend that you go to the ship’s deck for sunrise, enjoy mesmerizing landscapes from the sea as we sail along Aland Islands, hundreds of islands covered by forests. We disembark the ferry and have time to walk around TURKU, a city with a very strong Swedish influence. We continue our journey to the neighboring city of NAANTALI, a very picturesque town with wooden houses next to the sea. We travel on until we arrive in HELSINKI, reaching at lunchtime. In the afternoon enjoy leisure time, you will be able to explore the city, with its old market, buildings with Russian influence and churches.  Day 5 - FRI - HELSINKI - HELSINKI TALLINN FERRY - TALLINN TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful landscapes by the sea on the way out of Helsinki.We enjoy a boat trip to Suomenlinna Islands, a group of islands where we can witness a great fortress that used to protect the sea entry to the city, it has been declared World Heritage. Take time to walk around, it is possible to cross the islands through small pedestrian bridges. Later we will board a ferry to Estonia. The ferry trip will be around 2 hours 30 minutes. During the departure from Helsinki you have great views of the surrounding islands. On to TALLINN!  Day 6 - SAT - TALLINN TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: city tour of Tallinn. Tallinn, the capital of Estonia is a wonderful city with a well-conserved medieval center. We will enjoy a comprehensive tour of the city, its walls, churches, squares, and its medieval streets filled with tourist attractions. Free time during the afternoon.  Day 7 - SUN - TALLINN - PARNU - TURAIDA - RIGA TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: beautiful extensive landscapes covered with woods and small towns on the way. Turaida castle. Lunch included.Today we pass through forests and plains to reach PARNU, a popular spa city. We then travel on to Latvia. In TURAIDA we visit the medieval castle, surrounded by a large park with sculptures dedicated to Latvian Folklore. After lunch, included, we pay a visit to SIGULDA, the small and charming capital situated in a very beautiful landscape. We continue our journey, arriving to RIGA in the middle of the afternoon.  Day 8 - MON - RIGA TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Sightseeing in Riga. Salapsil Memorial.Enjoy a city tour of Riga, the capital city of Latvia and the most populated city from among the Baltic countries. The city is known not only for its cultural town center but, also, for its medieval old town, its Art Nouveau architecture and its well-preserved vestiges from the country´s time under the Soviet rule. We will include a quick transfer to the "Salapsil memorial”, located in what was once a Nazi´s Labor correctional camp. This is one of the largest memorial complexes in Europe built to commemorate the victims of Nazism. Free-time in the afternoon.  Day 9 - TUE - RIGA - RUNDALE - VILNIUS TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rundale palace, Hill of crosses, Trakai castle. Lunch included. We will depart for LITHUANIA early in the morning. On our way there, we will visit the BAROQUE PALACE OF RUNDALE, built by the same architect who designed Saint Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum. We will cross over into Lithuania. This country has a strong Catholic influence, highlighted by the impressive HILL OF CROSSES, thousands of crosses of all sizes. Lunch included will be taken on route. Afterwards, we will visit TRAKAI, a gorgeous castle located on an island in a lake, close to Vilnius. Ending the day in VILNIUS. Note: Depending on the duration of sunlight, the visit to Trakai may take place on Wednesday after visiting the city.  Day 10 - WED - VILNIUS TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Sightseeing of Vilnius. Sightseeing tour of the city built on top of seven hills (like Rome, to which they like comparing it). In the city center, enjoy the Baroque churches, its walls, its castle, its market streets, and its 1,200 medieval houses. Free time in the afternoon.  Day 11 - THU - VILNIUS - GRUTAS PARK - AUGUSTOW - WARSAW TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Grutas Park Today we continue to Poland. We will visit GRUTAS PARK, known as “Stalin’s World”, a park with 86 statues from Soviet times. Lunch stop in the charming town of AUGUSTOW which is located next to a lake. We will continue to the centre of Poland. Arriving in WARSAW at the end of the day.  Day 12 - FRI - WARSAW TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: sightseeing tour of Warsaw. We start the day with a sightseeing tour of Warsaw. We will visit its Old Town, Royal Castle, the Ghetto Heroes Monument, and Lazienki Park. Enjoy some free time afterwards, to stroll around.End of our services. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.  |

| 01 TUE. London.- Welcome to Europe!!!. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area. 02 WED. London. Get to know LONDON on a locally guided tour featuring style, culture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous “Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). In the afternoon, at 17.00hrs, after a period of free time, we invite all our travellers to a traditional Afternoon Tea. In the evening, a stroll through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho, with its atmosphere, its theaters and its entertainment. Sit down for dinner at your preferred restaurant (Indian, Chinese, Thai, international, and so on) in the lively district. 03 THU. London- Cambridge- York- Durham.- We will depart from London toward northern England. We will stop in CAMBRIDGE to admire its beautiful residential colleges. After lunchtime, we will continue to YORK where its cathedral, its Roman walls and lively shopping streets will create a charming memory. Time for a stroll. Afterwards, we will continue north. DURHAM. Arrival in this small, charming medieval town full of life which has a wonderful cathedral right in front of its castle. 04 FRI. Durham- Alnwick- Edinburgh.- We will travel to Scotland. We will stop in ALNWICK, a picturesque town with lovely gardens and a big medieval castle where the Harry Potter film was shot. We will later continue to EDINBURGH, where we will arrive at noon. This is Scotland’s capital city and one of the most active cities in Northern Europe. Its monumental centre has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its castle overlooks the city, its steep streets and its parks. Sightseeing tour with a local guide included. 05 SAT. Edinburgh- Pitlochry -Inverness- Loch Ness- Glasgow.- We will continue enjoying a stage with gorgeous landscapes in the Scottish Highlands. Time for a walk and a coffee in PITLOCHRY, a charming village. We will pass by INVERNESS the north of Scotland, city located very near the mysterious Loch Ness. After lunch we include the tickets to enter URQUHART medieval castle from where we will make a boat trip on the dark waters of the lake. Afterwards, we passed through FORT AUGUST with its sluice gate system and FORT WILLIAM, a tourist centre at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. We will return south through the high plateaus where it is not difficult to glimpse the snow before contouring Loch Lomond, one of the most popular lakes in Scotland. Arrival in GLASGOW at the end of the day. 06 SUN. Glasgow- Belfast- Dublin.- We will depart from Glasgow toward southern Scotland. We will board a ferryboat in Cairnryan. Journey toward Northern Ireland. Arrival in BELFAST, Northern Ireland’s capital city. This monumental city is overcoming its religious conflicts. We will resume our journey to EIRE (Ireland). Arrival in DUBLIN at the end of the day. 07 MON. Dublin.- Sightseeing tour of DUBLIN, Ireland’s peaceful capital city. We will enjoy a stroll on the banks of River Liffey, visiting its parks, its old university and its lively downtown streets. We will stroll around Trinity College (depending on the duration of sunlight, this visit may take place the afternoon before, upon arrival in Dublin). Free afternoon. 08 TUE. Dublin- Caernarfon- Liverpool.- We will board a fast ferryboat early in the morning. After a journey of two or three hours, we will arrive in Wales. We will visit CAERNARFON, a World Heritage site by the sea overlooked by an impressive castle. Time for lunch and a stroll. We will travel next to LIVERPOOL, where you will have a chance to visit The Beatles Story exhibition. 09 WED. Liverpool- Stratford- Oxford- London.- We will travel in southern England. We will visit STRATFORD UPON AVON, Shakespeare’s hometown. Time for lunch and a stroll. Afterwards, we will travel to OXFORD, a town that is synonymous with study and culture. Kings, statesmen, philosophers and scientists have studied there. We will continue to LONDON. Late afternoon arrival. End of our services. Check the time of your flight in case you need an additional night. |
