This is a leisurly self-drive program and surely the best way to see New Zealand. It is like driving on your private road as traffic is genraly minimal! stop when you want drive when you want but you can never get lost!! even without a GPS!!! 

DAY 01: Arrive Christchurch

Transfer to hotel Breakfast On Cashel 3* / Peppers Clearwater resort 4*.

DAY 02: At Christchurch (ABF)

This is a small town and recommended to walk around and see the place. Evening collect your car.

DAY 03: Christchurch – Mount Cook ( 300km, 3 Hr 50 Min ) (ABF)

Begin your all scenic tour of New Zeeland South Island by self-drive car…. the best way to see where it is like driving on your private road! Arrive Mount Cook and check inn into Aoraki Count Motel 3* / Aoraki Mount Alpine Lodge 4* or similar.

DAY 04: Mt. Cook – Queenstown ( 265km, 3 Hr 30 Min ) (ABF)

Enjoy your drive to Queenstown. On arrival check in to Heritage Queenstown 3* / Heritage Queenstown 4* or similar. Queenstown is like a one-horse town.

DAY 05: At Queenstown (ABF)

Today we recommend an excursion in your car to Dunedin and back.

DAY 06: At Queenstown (ABF)

Go to the Milford Sound Cruise boarding point and join the Cruise. Then return to Queenstown.

DAY 07: Day at Queenstown (ABF)

Today exciting excursions for the Queenstown Combo comprising a thriling Jet Boat ride and a Cruise on the TSS Earnslaw.
(Please note that the Queenstown Combo excursions that used to be availale are presently suspended due Covid safety precautations and may be reinstated in due course.)

DAY 08: Queenstown – Wanaka – Franz Josep ( 350 km, 5 Hr) (ABF)

Depart today for Franz Josep via stop at Lake Wanaka in what is the most scenic drive in New Zealand.

On arrival check in into Scenic hotel Franz 4* or similar.

DAY 09: At Franz Josep (ABF)

Today we recommend some hiking on the glacier and or take locally a helicopter ride weather permitting.

DAY 10: Franz Josep – Christchurch  ( 385 km, 5 Hr 30 min) (ABF)

Today depart for Christchurch and on arrival return the car and check in to your Ibis Christchurch 3* / Sudima Christchurch 4* or similar.

DAY 11: Depart Christchurch (ABF)

Transfer to Christchurch Airport.
